A short film based on a poem by Emily Dickinson inspired by the Visible Poetry Project (https://www.visiblepoetryproject.com/#the-projecty).

"For this project, I chose to create a visual rendition of Dickinson’s 'Her breast is fit for pearls,' a sweet love poem which features a queer speaker (i.e. usage of 'her'” assuming the speaker is a woman like the author herself) and prominent queer symbols (i.e. diving for pearls – sexuality of the vagina; building of a nest – female creation of home). As a lesbian, it is important to me that a comprehensive, diverse spectrum of relationships are featured in love stories told in various mediums, so I had the vision of creating a short film about queer women to accompany 'Her breast.'"
