"For my media essay, I decided to tackle the issue of anti-Semitism because it is something that relates very close to me. It is a topic that I have struggled to comprehend and has always made me ask a lot of questions. This is why I titled it 'The Jewish Question,' since each individual post contains a question I have about why there is still so much hatred targeted at Jews today. The photo I used in the center is one that I personally took at Yad Vashem, which is a Holocaust remembrance museum in Jerusalem, Israel. I also decided to make the entire Instagram in black and white to add to the serious and somber mood of the piece.
